I absolutely adore a potato dish! I have made many of them for you over the years from roasted and mashed to baked and stuffed. But there is no better time of the year to share new potato recipes than this festive time!
Everyone is thinking, what potato side should I serve on Christmas Day or during this holiday season? For some reason, potatoes and holidays go hand in hand so there is no better time to make my caramelised onion and brie potato bake or these stunning garlic butter potato stacks.
The big questions is, which one are you going to be making? If you’re like me, I will be serving both!
Another dish that comes to mind during the holiday season, is my buttered lobster pasta. There are no potatoes in sight but lobster is just another one of those ingredients that are saved for special occasions. I also recently did a photoshoot with Kip&Co where I made this pasta for them on my rooftop terrace.
I would love to hear what you will be making this holiday season! And I would love even more if it’s one of my recipes!!
Have a lovely day x
What’s been cooking
Baked, roasted, fried. There are so many ways in which to cook a potato. For this recipe, we’re going to cut it really thin and stack it high into individual serves, like a potato dauphinoise. But these are my Garlic Butter Potato Stack. Although they might seem slightly fiddly, they’re worth the labour! And just look at how pretty they look! Almost like a little stacked potato flower.
This brie and caramelised onion potato bake is the must try dish for hosting this festive season. It’s great for sharing with family with friends and will be an absolute crowd pleaser. It’s filled with layers of caramelised onion, brie cheese, parmesan and garlic confit. It’s quite the indulgent meal!
Nothing quite says the holidays to me than lobster! Indulge this holiday season in a decadent meal with this simple and delicious buttered lobster pasta. This creamy and rich pasta is made with luxurious pieces of lobster tail that have been pan fried in lots of butter and tossed through jammy tomatoes.
