It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and I am beginning to get all the festive feels. We have put up our Christmas tree, snuggled up on the couch with my cat, daughter and partner while watching Christmas movies, I made my own Christmas wreath, and I have written up draft 1 of my Christmas lunch menu. I am hosting my family for Christmas this year and the hostess in me is very excited!
Christmas is such a joyous time of year, especially for those who love to cook! I have been testing some great recipes that can act as the main star at your Christmas feast such as these honey glazed garlic butter lamb cutlets. They are incredibly delicious and feel special to eat. Over in Australia, lamb cutlets are very pricey so I like to reserve them for special occasions such as birthday dinners, anniversaries or holiday gatherings.
I usually serve lamb cutlets with a beautiful salsa verde but I wanted to mix things up this year which is why I have developed this new lamb cutlet recipe! The sauce is rich, sweet and sticky and pairs perfectly with some mashed potatoes or crusty white bread.
And for those that are feeling like they need to give their bellies a little break from all the rich food that was served at Thankgiving, I do have some soothing soups that will heal all your woes.
I am working on so many Christmas recipes for you all so please keep an eye out for my newsletter! And keep your eyes peeled on my website as new recipes will be popping up quite regulary as we enter the Christmas countdown.
Have a great week! x

There are a few flavour combinations that are always a winner: lemon and fish, chocolate and berries and lamb and garlic. That’s why this recipe is all about celebrating the classic flavour combination. Much like a David Bowie record, lamb and garlic never goes out of style. Whether the temperature is dropping or rising, these honey glazed garlic butter lamb cutlets will satisfy all year ‘round.
Pastina is Italy’s ultimate comfort food. It’s buttery, cheesy, creamy and silky, will cure any ailment and feels like a big warm hug from mom in a bowl. It’s perfect for those who are looking for a little comfort after their big Thanksgiving feasts!
This creamy garlic soup is another great recipe that feels like a big warm hug in a bowl! And we all know the healing powers that come from the magical vegetable that is garlic and this soup is packed to the brim with it!
